About the Author and Founder of Storybook Acres
Michele Duchene-Marshall lives on a small farm in
Conneaut, Ohio. She is a wife and mother.
Most of her life was spent in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
In 2002, she retired from her medical/legal career
and with her family moved to Storybook Acres.  
In her large country kitchen at Storybook Acres sits a wooden rocking
chair where she rocks and cuddles the animals that inspire her books.
During a visit to the small farm, you would find animals coming and going
to warm up by the fireplace or snacking on cookies and milk
in the kitchen.








Michele Duchene-Marshall also mixes up her own herbal cleaners,
muscle rubs, bug repellents, and soaps. Her family and animals use
her products.
Michele completed her studies for  Veterinarian Technician  and
cares for
the animals in the on-site medical clinic under the care and
supervision of our Veterinarian Greener Pastures
